Garden Unraveled
Beaches, ON
Many of the plantings in the tiered beds of this backyard had declined or needed relocation. To refresh the space, the existing barberry and boxwood shrubs and mophead hydrangeas were moved from the first to the second tier, while the hostas were relocated to a shadier spot in the backyard. New additions, including Golden Barberry, 'Macro Magical Amethyst' hydrangea, 'Girard's Fuschia' azalea, 'Glitter' coral bell, and creeping Jenny, brought renewed color, texture, and seasonal interest. The result is a vibrant, well-balanced design that enhances both structure and beauty in the landscape.
